Of course, it is always possible that in generations beyond your grandfather, the clan came from somewhere else.  For example, we were able to link the Sandiego Clan of Cebu (the owners of the historic Yap-Sandiego Heritage House) to our clan from Bulacan.  We found a common ancestor at around the late 1700s.  Do let me know if you manage to research beyond your Lolo.  :)]]></description>

My name is Arnel Capiral and my family was from Bulacan.  My grandfather is Hermenegildo Capiral.  I recall that we have relatives in Bulacan with San Diego last names and that most of our relatives are originally from Obando Bulacan.  They used to take me along as a kid but lost touch after years.]]></description>
